Our Story
Founded by Scott Kunkel, Scotify Studios began as a freelance production operation in Madison, WI before relocating to San Diego, CA. What started as a one-person shop shooting concerts and local events has grown into a full-service creative agency serving brands, businesses, and artists nationwide.
Over the past 9+ years, Scotify Studios has produced media for clients ranging from KISS's Gene Simmons and Bon Iver's management team to Red Flint Sand and Gravel, Dinner Service NY, CI Pediatric Therapy Centers, and Live Nation. The studio has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan, and The Badger Herald.
Today, Scotify Studios operates from San Diego, CA offering video production, commercial photography, podcast production, web design, artist development, and virtual consulting — all under one roof, with a relationship-first approach that keeps clients coming back project after project.

With over 9 years of experience in the film and marketing industry, Scott takes pride in building relationships with his clients. The importance of communication with an emphasis on being a good listener enables Scott to provide an authentic creative experience. Scott's passion for content creation is highlighted by the way he can create naturally beautiful aesthetics while maintaining the integrity of the creative art.
